CD series are uncoated, transparent Poly(ethylene terephthalate) film designed for a balance between MD (machine direction)


CD series can be treated corona in order to improve the adhesion to various inks & coating materials. The corona is treated in, out or both sides of the film. The available thickness ranges from 12  to 150  (from 48 to 600 gauge).



CD series are various physical, optical performances by the customer order. Especially, its excellent clarity makes an ideal support material for various coated films. CD is often selected as a component of a printed & laminated package because of its great tensile strength, high temperature resistance, gas barrier property, and chemical resistance. Its remarkable clarity, good handle-ability, & relative insensitivity to heat and humidity make it and ideal packaging material and outer ply of many packaging structures.

Some CD series can be used to metalizing process and is applied to packages for the protection of sensitive food products maximizing shelf-life. For its opacity (light barrier property), the aluminum deposit may be an additional protective factor for better keeping of many of food.
